Trixi Worrack finished just off the podium today in the final stage of Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour in Schmölln, Germany. Worrack put in an impressive ride to sit in the hot seat until the final riders crossed the line.

“It was a really tough ITT. The course was the same as it has been in 2017, but this year it was the final stage of the tour instead of in the middle.”

While Worrack finished fourth, her teammate Elena Cecchini wasn’t far behind in sixth position. “I’m a bit disappointed to lose the spot I had on the GC after our great stage 6 yesterday, but I’m happy to have a stage win, two podiums myself at this tour, and as well as some great team racing,” said Cecchini.
